With every update it seemed to run even faster, cooler and quieter. This meant I could only install Maverick which I updated to Catalina.(fun adventure that was)Įventually Apple did release a fix and I was able to Clean install Big Sur. At the time, there was a bricking issue with older Macs so Apple restricted Older Macs from installing Big Sur until a fix came out. Overall my my Mac just felt a bit bloated so I decided to do a clean install. ![]() I have noticed the animations were a bit choppy here and there. I've got a MBP 13" Late 2013 which I updated from Catalina to the initial Big Sur Release version as soon as It became available. Clean install is probably the best way with Big Sur.
